Changing the Windows 7 logon background image

Just stumbled across the article showed below the other day when I was wondering whether it was possible to change the windows 7 Logon background image.

The default background image is located here: C:\Windows\System32\oobe\background.bmp but you won’t be able to swap this one out with something else, and even if you could (by for example accessing the filesystem from dualboot or something) you would be messing around with system files and that is never recommended.

Instead I tried this Windows 7 Logon Background Changer out and it worked fine. I had the background image changed in seconds and it doesn’t seem like my PC has been infected with trojans or viruses, so thanks to Julien Manici for this great app.
